Short Biosketch of Dr. Bing WANG

Bing WANG earned his PhD from Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology. As a visiting Scholar in University of Ottawa, Canada, he has done an internship research program from 2013 to 2014 sponsored by China Scholarship Council. He currently is a faculty member inSchool of Energy and Mining Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing (CUMTB) and a researcher in Center for Sustainable Development and Energy Policy Research, SME, CUMTB.

Dr. Wang has more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Energy Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy Policy, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Natural Hazards, etc. These papers include 20+ papers cited in SCI/SSCI and three papers highlighted in ISI ESI (Essential Science Indicator) highly cited papers.

His areas of research interest/expertise include energy transition strategy policy modeling, renewable energy development policy, coal sustainable supply chain management, etc. He has host programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the program of “Beijing-funded Plan for Talents”, National Statistical Science Research Project, etc.
