WANG Chunlai

Chunlai Wang, He works as a professor in the School of Energy and Mining, China University of Mining & Technology Beijing, China. He is now the associate director of National Engineering Laboratory for Efficient Utilization of Indium and Tin Resources, and he is Ph.D. supervisor and the winner of the National Youth Science and Technology Award from China Coal Society. His teaching and research interests focus mainly on the mechanism of rockburst, predicting and control technology using microseismic monitoring, predicting and support technology of land slide, rock mechanics and engineering, etc. He is a visiting scholar at the University of British Columbia in Canada. He took charge of three national scientific projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), a project of the research fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education, He hosts two Sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Project. He won 1 second prize of The State Scientific and Technological Progress Award and 5 first Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Prizes, he has published over 80 academic papers, in which more than 45 SCI papers and 28 Ei papers were published in International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Science, Rock and Soil Mechanics, etc. He has also written 3 books (including one of Springer's English monographs) and holds 8 national invention patents in China.
